Barcelona Photo Inspiration

When I originally planned my Europe backpacking trip, I had pretty much every European country on my itinerary.  Morocco and Egypt even popped on there a few times.  Given my time and budget constraints, I had to scale it back.  I embraced the fact that I’m a slow traveler; I like to spend more time in one place than to hop around every few days to a new city.  I can experience the culture, people, food and atmosphere better this way.  So unfortunately, more southern countries like Spain and Italy got axed.  I vowed that I WOULD visit them eventually.  And amazingly, I was able to make that promise come true just 2 short years later.  Barcelona was an easy trip from France, so I made it happen!  Here is some Barcelona photo inspiration to entice you to visit Spain as well!

Barcelona Photo Inspiration

From crazy Gaudi architecture to beachfront vibes, Barcelona was a great first introduction to Spain.  The city Catalans call home has amazing food (hello tapas and sangria!), great walkability (Las Ramblas and Barri Gotic), and a special energy that can’t be put into words.  I spent a long weekend here in December with my boyfriend and can’t wait to go back to explore more of Spain!
